The Idea

The idea of “Not One Damn Dime Day” has the essential base of silent strike, at first created and provided by Mahatma Gandhi.

This idea provides a special kind of strike, which does not use any street demonstrations or other kinds of civil disobedience.

The participants of such event just make a decision not to do some discussed actions. For example, in such an actions people could decline to eat fast-foods to prove its harm for the human body.

In the case of “Not One Damn Dime Day” strike the idea is not to buy any goods at all for a period of 24 hours. This action could show the American government, that they have made a wrong choice of politics and that people of America are disappointed by their childish behavior.

The time to show our indignation and disappointment has come! By doing nothing any member of this strike could afford the national consciousness and help the county not to fall in its own trap.
